How to get mficertification

Apphone set out to become a certified Apple MFI Developer. The process is complex and long.

Step 1:

 Before we could go into production,we should get some information of your company,such as:Company’s name,logo,barcode and product image what you wanted.

 We will submitt a new plan to MFI for approval.(It is always take 3 working days),Once the new project have been passed ,the MFI would provide a PPID to us this is new project code.

Step 2:

After the new project approved ,We need choose testing Lab,one is in Taiwan ,the other is in China.We always choose the Lab in China.

Then we need to wait for the email from Lab ,they will provide the offering to us and tell us how much cost the testing(it is always usd550)

At the same time ,we can make samples to avoid to waste times.

Step 3.

Once we get the quotation from Lab and we can pay the testing cost according their email(it always take 2-3days).

After pay the cost and the samples have been finished (it is always should be 2pcs),We should send them to Lab and wait for the new information, It is always take 10-12 working days.

Step 4

We will submit the artwork of packaging to MFI for approval after the mfi products have been passed .It is always take 3-5 working days.

Step 5

The approved samples should be sent to USA by UL  Lab(it always cost usd50)

We can go into production after the packaging have been passed.
